Douglas C. Teague, Petroleum Engineer
Doug Teague brings 27 years of domestic and foreign experience in various aspects of petroleum engineering and management. Most recently Mr. Teague was Vice President of Engineering & Operations for Output Exploration, LLC. During his six year tenure (2001-2007), Mr. Teague directed all drilling and production operations. While at Output Exploration he initiated a $50 million private company acquisition that increased company revenues from 30 to 68 BCFe, production from 9.1 to 18.2 MMCFe/D and the inventory of wells from 296 to 668. Teague was an integral part of the $131 million disposition of the company through Petrie Parkman in April of 2007.
Prior to 2001, Mr. Teague was President of Genesis Resources Corporation from 1998-2000 where he was responsible for all technical aspects in the evaluation and operation of all oil and gas property acquisitions. From 1996 to 1998 Mr. Teague was the Director of Engineering & Operations for Smith EA Energy, Inc. While at Smith, Mr. Teague provided technical engineering expertise for all foreign and domestic projects. Most notably he directed the development of a well rehabilitation work program and the completion of the feasibility study for the 650 well Barsa Gelmes (East) field in the Republic of Turkmenistan. He participated in the writing of the Production Sharing Agreement, as well as, presenting information to the government in Ashgabat and Nebit Dag.
Mr. Teague began his career in 1980 with Quintana Petroleum Corporation. Throughout his fifteen years with Quintana, he was employed as a petroleum/reservoir engineer, as well as, being promoted to management responsible for overseeing various fields, both domestic and foreign. Mr. Teague received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Henry D. Schlesinger, Certified Petroleum Geologist
With more than 27 years’ experience as a geologist, Henry Schlesinger has a long technical and professional reputation. He has been involved in projects around the world during his career. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist, member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist, as well as the Houston Geological Society. Mr. Schlesinger was a geologist with Delta Energy Resources from 1980-1984 and Vice President of Marshall Petroleum from 1984-1997. Mr. Schlesinger has been an independent consultant since 1997.
Mr. Schlesinger has a B.S. in Geology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, College of Engineering, Lafayette, Louisiana.
Brian Collins, President – The Texas 1031 Exchange Company
Brian Collins began his career in International and Domestic Oil & Gas Drilling Operations in 1972 with Dresser Industries and Smith International first in field operations, then middle management and finally in international sales. During his 25 year career he worked in Africa, Middle East, Europe, Former Soviet Union (FSU), Canada, Texas, California, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Mr. Collins has been president of two oil tool and engineering operations, one in Louisiana and the other in the FSU. A career change in 1998 moved him to Central Texas where he is currently managing partner and president of a commercial real estate organization and of an IRC 1031 exchange company. In this capacity he facilitates numerous real and personal property as well as oil & gas 1031 exchanges. Additionally, he personally invests in numerous oil & gas endeavors.
Mr. Collins graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy in 1967. He holds his Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation (CCIM) and his firm is a member in good standing of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA).
